Knight's game on Thursday was all tied up 6-6 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Quartz Hill Royals. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Knight's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Quartz Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Knight will face off against rival Antelope Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hawks 11.9, the Antelopes 3.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Quartz Hill is set to challenge their familiar foe Highland at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
