The Coleman Bluecats will head out on the road to face off against the Winters Blizzards at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coleman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
If Coleman beats Winters with nine runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Bluecats were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Bangs on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bluecats in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won four in a row.

Brady Elder
| 03/20/26 @ Bangs | 3 |
| 04/17/25 @ Eula | 2 |
| 04/22/25 vs Ballinger | 1 |
| 04/08/25 @ De Leon | 1 |
| 03/28/25 @ Winters | 1 |
The team relied heavily on Brady Elder, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Brayden Torres also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Winters got themselves on the board against Ballinger on Wednesday, but Ballinger never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 14-0 win. The matchup marked the Blizzards' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Mark Moreno was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Moreno was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Winters is undefeated when Moreno posts two or more runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
In other batting news, Jonah Whitaker and Haydin Collins did most of the damage at the plate: Whitaker went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Collins went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Whitaker is becoming a predictor of Winters' success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Ajay Soto, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.
Winters always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .711. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Coleman's record is now 4-1. As for Winters, their record now sits at 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Coleman has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Winters struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Coleman's way against Winters in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Coleman made off with a 21-3 win. Will the Bluecats repeat their success, or do the Blizzards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
