The Phoenixville Phantoms will face off against the Perkiomen Valley Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Phoenixville took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They never let Boyertown get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory.

The result came thanks to Cadin Coleman's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks. He has become a key player for Phoenixville: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 4-7 otherwise.
At the plate, Phoenixville's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Giovanni Vito, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Chris Mull was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley hadn't done well against Spring-Ford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Vikings blew past the Rams 9-3. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.
Nicholas Cress looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan King, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Autovino, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Perkiomen Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Phoenixville, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
