The Calvary Christian Cougars's road trip will continue as they head out to face Immaculate Conception Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Hopefully Calvary Christian is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in their respective states (they are ranked 268th in Kentucky, while Immaculate Conception Academy is ranked 797th in Ohio).
After soaring to a 20-point win in their last game, Calvary Christian came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of Bellevue by a score of 40-38. Calvary Christian has not had much luck with Bellevue recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Immaculate Conception Academy pushed their score all the way to 61 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Dominion Academy 65-61.
Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Immaculate Conception Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Calvary Christian came up short against Immaculate Conception Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 53-42. Can Calvary Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
