On Friday Orange will take on Northwood at 7:00 PM. Orange don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Last Friday, Orange came up short against Hillside, falling 15-22. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Orange.
Meanwhile, after flying high against East Chapel Hill two weeks ago, Northwood came back down to earth. Northwood have to be aching after a bruising 14-35 loss to Southern Durham. The state rankings had actually given Northwood a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The last time the two teams met, Orange and Northwood were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but Orange suffered an agonizing 20-21 loss. Can Orange avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
