Gloucester Catholic took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gloucester City on Saturday. Gloucester Catholic was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Gloucester City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Gloucester City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keegan Cohan, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Light, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Gloucester Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Gloucester City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
Gloucester Catholic will head out on the road to take on Timber Creek Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gloucester City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 85-49 defeat vs. Eastern on the 11th.
