The McNair Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. Their rough 86-66 defeat to Temple might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kente Taylor and Kamar Gooden certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Taylor scored 18 points along with 3 blocks, while Gooden scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Wise , who scored 6 points.
McNair's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Temple, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
McNair won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than McNair in Georgia (Eagle's Landing Christian Academy is ranked 105th, while McNair is ranked 442nd). As for Temple, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
