West Fargo scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. 2025 welcomed they with an 82-58 loss courtesy of the Shanley Deacons. The loss leaves the Packers without a win on the season.

West Fargo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Shanley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Fargo will welcome Horace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Horace knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully West Fargo likes a good challenge. As for Shanley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fargo South at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Shanley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
