Baseball Recap: Warren Central Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Warren Central and Saltillo squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Warren Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Vikings haven't been shut out since back in March.

Warren Central's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-11. As for Saltillo, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saltillo, they will face off against George County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
