He's only a junior, but when he steps onto the basketball court all eyes are focused on
Bronny James. It makes sense as the
Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) junior is the son of LeBron James, arguably the greatest player in the NBA today and certainly in the G.O.A.T conversation all time.
From the nationally televised Chosen 1's showcase to the 'Iolani Classic, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound wing is the star attraction for the hardcore hoop heads as well as the curious observer. He's averaging 10 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.4 steals in his first 14 games this season.
The 38th-ranked prospect in the 247Sports 2023 recruiting rankings still has a year to think about the next step in his playing career, but that hasn't stopped many from wondering ... or speculating ... where "The King's" son could wind up.
According to a
story after Hoophall West, 247Sports' Eric Bossi writes that a handful of colleges appear to have risen to the top of the list, but much remains a mystery in part because he's still a junior and in part because Bronny's media access has been sharply curtailed.
"He's still basically off limits to the media and hasn't put out a school
list, but some of the teams that he is believed to have interest in
include Duke, Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas among others," Bossi writes.
Also on the four-star's 247Sports' player page, are college basketball Blue Bloods like Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina.
