Softball Recap: Grayson County's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grayson County's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the George Wythe Maroons 10-3. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Grayson County moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for George Wythe, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grayson County will challenge Holston at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for George Wythe, they will face off against Rural Retreat at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
