The Bradford Railroaders will square off against the Arcanum Trojans at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Having struggled with four  losses in a row, Bradford  turned things around against Preble Shawnee  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  19-7 margin over the Arrows. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Railroaders considering their one-run performance the  match before.
 Vivian Harlemen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Harlemen was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news, Bradford got a  massive  performance out of  Hayven Evans, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Lilly Canan, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Bradford was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .485. They are 5-2 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Meanwhile, Arcanum had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Blazers  a   14-0 shutout. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.
 Arcanum's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Bradford, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
