Baseball Recap: Plymouth Has No Trouble Against Laconia

Plymouth came out on top against Laconia on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Sachems with a sharp 13-2 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Sachems recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jake Sanborn was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Diamond, who earned one RBI, two runs, and two stolen bases.

Plymouth now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Laconia, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Plymouth will challenge Pelham at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Laconia, they will take on Kennett at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.25 runs per game on average), something the Sachems will no doubt try to take advantage of.
