Trinity Prep got themselves on the board against Lake Highland Prep on Thursday, but Lake Highland Prep never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Highlanders with a sharp 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Trinity Prep got a massive performance out of Olivia Agnew, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Agnew has posted since back in February. Naomi Tanielian was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Trinity Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Lake Highland Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Trinity Prep and Lake Highland Prep could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Saints will face off against Cornerstone Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (138 vs. 45). Meanwhile, Lake Highland Prep (ranked 455th) will meet Geneva (ranked 101st) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
