Neither McMichael nor North Forsyth posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
McMichael proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 30) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They didn't even let Walkertown onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points McMichael has scored all year.
North Forsyth won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were beaten by Leadership Academy 57-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss North Forsyth has suffered since November 29, 2023.
McMichael is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for North Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
