Even though McGavock scored an imposing 59 points on Tuesday, Cane Ridge still came out on top. Cane Ridge narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past McGavock 62-59.
Meanwhile, sadly, Hunters Lane is still looking for their first win of the season after 17 matchups. They took a serious blow against Antioch on Friday, falling 42-8.
Cane Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Hunters Lane, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17.
