The Temple Christian Watchmen won the last time they faced the Heritage Christian Academy Lions, and things went their way on Thursday too. Temple Christian came out on top against Heritage Christian Academy by a score of 37-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Temple Christian.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addelynn Reid, who scored 13 points. The match was Reid's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sara Spangler, who scored nine points.
Temple Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Temple Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westlake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Heritage Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Victory Baptist Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
