Franklin suffered their biggest loss since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by West Henderson on the road and fell 67-38. Franklin has not had much luck with West Henderson recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last matchup, Swain County made sure to put some points up on the board against Nantahala on Wednesday. Swain County claimed a resounding 64-32 win over Nantahala on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Swain County has posted since December 8, 2023.
Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Swain County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Franklin was able to grind out a solid win over Swain County when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 48-36. Will Franklin repeat their success, or does Swain County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
