The Crete-Monee Warriors will challenge the Tinley Park Titans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Crete-Monee barely beat Bloom the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Blazing Trojan with a sharp 13-6 victory on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted against the Blazing Trojan since April 20, 2023.

Deiker Rondon

03/24/25 @ Evergreen Park | 1 |
Deiker Rondon made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Crete-Monee is 3-1 when Rondon allows one or fewer hits, but 4-6 otherwise. Rondon was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, Keyshon James was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Christopher Schubbe was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Crete-Monee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.8.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tinley Park). They were the clear victors by a 23-9 margin over Lisle on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
The team relied heavily on Josh Aggen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Hullinger, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Crete-Monee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Tinley Park, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crete-Monee has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tinley Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crete-Monee couldn't quite finish off Tinley Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 7-5. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
