D.C. Everest lost against Eau Claire Memorial back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Evergreens fell 2-0 to the Old Abes. The Evergreens' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While D.C. Everest was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20.

Ella Eckhoff paced D.C. Everest's offense, picking up six kills. Eckhoff got some help from Tatum Arndt and her 13 assists.

D.C. Everest now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

D.C. Everest has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Edgar on the 6th. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Tomahawk on the 6th.
