Lompoc has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cabrillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Braves will host the Conquistadores at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Lompoc is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since March 6th on Friday. They skirted past Mission College Prep 3-1. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Lily Drysol made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Drysol was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Drysol wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Aguilar, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Brynn Reyna also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Cabrillo had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Mission College Prep 4-2.

Lompoc's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Cabrillo, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-8.

Lompoc took their victory against Cabrillo when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Conquistadores turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
