The Seneca Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Walhalla Razorbacks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
On Friday, Seneca beat Travelers Rest 5-1.

Tyler Vassey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Seneca let Kade Scruggs and William Cutshall run wild. Scruggs scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, while Cutshall scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Walhalla, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over Pickens on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their matchups with the Blue Flame: they've now won nine in a row.
Carson Duncan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Duncan was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Collin Phillips, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was his first of the season. Nate Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Walhalla's record is now 5-2. As for Seneca, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Seneca has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Walhalla struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Seneca took their victory against Walhalla when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. Will Seneca repeat their success, or does Walhalla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
