Concord Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They claimed a resounding 80-38 victory over the Gaston Day Spartans. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Concord Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lincoln Raper led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists. The contest was Raper's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gray Madeira, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Raper wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Concord Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 29 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Deshawn Coulter, who posted 14 points. Griffen Simpson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Concord Academy pushed their record up to 29-3 with the win, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points per game. As for Gaston Day, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.
