The third road game was the charm for the Bison Cardinals, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past McIntosh with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-43. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Bison has managed all season.
Bison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Veal, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The matchup was Veal's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Stadler , who scored 16 points.
Bison's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for McIntosh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bison will take on Timber Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McIntosh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wakpala at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
