Jaya Kelly continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 41 points along with six assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Clinton School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Tokarczyk, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.
Clinton School's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Economics & Finance, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Clinton School won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on January 11th. Chelsea will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while Clinton School is ranked 155th). As for Economics & Finance, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lab Museum United at 4:30 p.m. Lab Museum United is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
