Boyd is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Pickel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Laurel Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Carmichael, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Thomas Reich, who scored nine points.
Sylva Bay Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Laurel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.
