Bethany hadn't done well against Kingfisher recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went the Bethany Bronchos' way against the Kingfisher Yellowjackets as the Bethany Bronchos made off with an 8-2 victory. Considering the Bronchos have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Bethany, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kingfisher, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethany will venture away from home to take on Putnam City North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kingfisher, they are taking a road trip to face off against Heritage Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
