After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Doyline, the Forest Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over Downsville. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Forest has posted against Downsville since November 13, 2018.
Downsville's loss came despite strong showings from Charles Vick and Nathan Wolfe. Vick scored eight points along with nine rebounds, while Wolfe scored no points.
Forest's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Downsville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
Forest will head out on the road to take on Simsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Simsboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Forest likes a good challenge. As for Downsville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Choudrant at 6:00 p.m. Choudrant presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Downsville in Louisiana (Choudrant is ranked 177th, while Downsville is ranked 391st).
