International Academy has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the New Standard Academy Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. International Academy will be strutting in after a victory while New Standard Academy will be coming in after a defeat.
International Academy put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Genesee as International Academy made off with a 68-47 victory.
Meanwhile, New Standard Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Pontiac 58-54.
International Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for New Standard Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
International Academy won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in December of 2023, slipping by New Standard Academy 59-58. Will International Academy repeat their success, or does New Standard Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
