Softball Recap: Sodus Wins Going Away Against Honeoye

Sodus lost to Honeoye back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 22-12 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Spartans have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sodus' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Honeoye, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sodus will welcome Whitman at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Honeoye, they will host Batavia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
