South Lyon East waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 50-36 win over the Walled Lake Northern Knights. The 50-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

South Lyon East pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Walled Lake Northern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
