This season hasn't been kind to the Bell Bulldogs, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were outmatched by Saint Francis Catholic at home and fell 60-24. Bell lost against Saint Francis Catholic in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 44-37 score last time.
Saint Francis Catholic was led to victory by Brett Thomas and Jonah Powers. Thomas dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Powers scored 17 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Welcome, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Bell has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 0-4 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.3 points per game. As for Saint Francis Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Bell will stay at home for another game and welcome Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Trenton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Monday. Saint Francis Catholic's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bronson at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th.
