If Hooker was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Guymon last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laverne Tigers on Monday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trace Duncan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Hooker's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Laverne, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Hooker will host Forgan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Laverne has already played their next matchup (against Mooreland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
