For Moore Haven, this counts as revenge for the 37-36 loss Pahokee walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Moore Haven found their leader in underclassman Aaryn Askew, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Askew has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kendavion Holligan, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Pahokee lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Javian Jones, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahtaj Dowdell, who scored 12 points.
Moore Haven has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Pahokee, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9.
