Legend is 3-0 against Mountain Range since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Legend Titans will be playing at home against the Mountain Range Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Legend focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday.
Legend took care of business in their home opener. They snuck past Arapahoe with a 48-43 win.
Legend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Seth Whitehead, who scored 12 points. Carson Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Mountain Range had to suffer through a rough 86-42 loss at the hands of Eaglecrest. Mountain Range was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-19.
The losing side was boosted by Landen Calabrese, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Helsel, who scored 8 points.
Legend's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Mountain Range, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Legend against Mountain Range in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 80-41 victory. Does Legend have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mountain Range turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
