Hermann is 8-2 against Montgomery County since August of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hermann Bearcats will be playing at home against the Montgomery County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-14, which was the final score in Hermann's tilt against Union last Friday. Hermann has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Montgomery County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by South Callaway 44-15.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jacer Brower, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 6-3.
Hermann came up short against Montgomery County in their previous meeting back in August, falling 27-21. Can Hermann avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
