Powers Catholic won the last time they faced Midland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Powers Catholic Chargers blew past the Midland Chemics 77-37. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Powers Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jesse Cull out in front who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points. Breckin Cicalo was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Powers Catholic and bumps their season record up to 16-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.5 points over those games. As for Midland, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
