Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothill). They pulled ahead with a 70-69 photo finish over the Heritage Patriots on Tuesday. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 52-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Heritage lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brady Lockrem, who posted 18 points. The match was Lockrem's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Bernard, who earned 16 points.

Foothill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foothill will welcome Granada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Granada's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Heritage, they will host Deer Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage is facing Deer Valley at the right time seeing as Deer Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
