Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Redlands Terriers walked away with it. They came out on top against San Marino by a score of 28-21 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Redlands.
Theodore (Teddy) Mcgee was his usual excellent self, rushing for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Mcgee was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Julien Scarbrough did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 100 receiving yards.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Beck, who threw for 194 yards and two touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes. Mikey Yessaian was another key contributor, picking up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Redlands now has a winning record of 6-5. As for San Marino, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Redlands will be playing at home against Torrance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Torrance will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. San Marino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
