The Carrollton Warriors waltzed into their matchup Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Dalton 67-41. Carrollton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 22 points or more this season.
Leading Carrollton to victory were Brae Roudebush and Hillari Baker. Roudebush scored 19 points along with three steals, while Baker scored 22 points along with five assists. The contest was Baker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kylie Ujcich, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Dalton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Carrollton will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Meadowbrook at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadowbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 627th, while Carrollton is ranked 59th). Dalton will finish 2023 at home by hosting Woodridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
