Robbie Fuelling and Grant Owen provided fans with a highlight when they connected against San Marino. The longest such play in Rio Hondo this season, the connection resulted in 82 yards.
The Titans extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating La Canada, 42-17. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Blake Heyworth and Ge Vontray Ainsworth gave Monrovia a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Heyworth threw for 100 yards and one touchdown, while Ainsworth ran for 140 yards. Darione Jones also contributed to the rushing game with 99 yards on the ground.
Owen was the best wideout in the league this week as the Spartans fell to Mike Hobbie's team. Owen racked up two receptions for 84 yards. Mario Del Cueto helped La Canada's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
Monrovia's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Heyworth has thrown for 1055 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Mason Bryant has 26 catches for 452 yards. Ainsworth leads the league in rushing with 541 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when South Pasadena takes on Temple City. At the moment, the Tigers are in second, while the Rams are in fourth.
Temple City took down Blair 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Austin Esparza ran for 94 yards in the win.
