The Red Oak Hawks put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 win over Midlothian. For Red Oak, this counts as revenge for the 56-28 defeat Midlothian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Oak to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reggie Moody, who threw for 131 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Red Oak's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.11 points. As for Midlothian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
Red Oak will face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Red Oak is ranked 45th). As for Midlothian, they will take on Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
