It's playoff time, and Keyser had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Lincoln Cougars 67-39 on Thursday. The Golden Tornado have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Lincoln's loss came despite strong showings from Hope Blackwell and Brystol Toth. Blackwell posted nine points and six rebounds, while Toth earned eight points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. Toth is becoming a predictor of Lincoln's success: when she posts at least three blocks the team is 2-1 (and 7-14 when she doesn't). Aundrea Rockwell was another key player, putting up two points and three blocks.

Keyser's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Lincoln, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Keyser will face off against Wayne at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Wayne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
