Rutherford's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Newberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.
Coming up, Rutherford will face off against Bolles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bolles will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Rutherford surely won't give up without a fight. Newberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
