Even though the Towson Generals scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, the Dulaney Lions still came out on top. Dulaney walked away with a 65-56 victory over Towson. The win was familiar territory for Dulaney who now have three in a row.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Seven Wheeler, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Wheeler scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Quint Fryer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Dulaney's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Towson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Dulaney will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Eastern Tech at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Eastern Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Wednesday. As for Towson, they will head out on the road to square off against Milford Mill Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
