It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but Ilwaco ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Raymond/South Bend Ravens by a score of  38-30. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Fishermen considering their eight-point performance the  game before.
 Despite the loss, Raymond/South Bend still got an impressive performance from   Isaac Schlueter, who rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown. Those 160  rushing yards gave  Schlueter a new career-high. Raymond/South Bend also got a significant boost from  Manny Becerra-Souza, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.
 Ilwaco now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Raymond/South Bend,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-7.
