Prestonsburg had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Perry County Central Commodores by a score of 63-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blackcats also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Prestonsburg pushed their record up to 17-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points over those games. As for Perry County Central, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
