 Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter suffered a  tough 15-4 defeat at the hands of Riverside Prep  on Friday. Excelsior Charter has struggled against Riverside Prep recently, as their  contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
 University Prep pushed their record up to 21-3 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Excelsior Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
 Excelsior Charter's pitching crew better be locked in  on Wednesday. University Prep hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 1.6  home runs per game.
