After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East, the Campbell County Camels were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 40-39 photo finish over Glenwood Springs. Given Campbell County's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 25th in Wyoming, while Glenwood Springs is ranked 128th in Colorado), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Campbell County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lane Hladky led the charge by scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Hladky pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Biggs, who scored eight points.
The win got Campbell County back to even at 3-3. As for Glenwood Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
