Reese Bowles, Garces Memorial's leading hitter, solidified her role on Monday. Bowles wasn't messing around, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. The matchup was her fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Bowles' strong effort led Garces Memorial over Stockdale and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
